MinistriesCommunity & connection happen when we join together in body or in spirit. At Northend Church we want to be a community that meets our neighbours, supports each other, and provides opportunities to be in life giving relationships even and especially through these unusual times.
Northend Kidz Ministry:
Where kids come to hear about Jesus, experience His love, and build friendships
In Northend kidz, we provide an exciting, safe, and welcoming kids program for ages 0-11 years old. It is our mission to teach your kids all about who Jesus is and the love He has for them, and walk with them as they encounter His presence.
We know times are tough and the current situation is difficult. If you’re having a hard time putting food on the table, we’re here to help. We would love to drop-off canned food items to your door. Please submit your request HERE . Alternatively, you may call the office at 905-934-3398 to place an order via phone.
Would you like to volunteer your time and efforts in purchasing, categorizing, or dropping off food? If you are interested in doing so, please contact the office for more information. As always, careful considerations will be made regarding social distancing and following all of Niagara Region’s state of emergency guidelines.
Change, growth, and a harvest is not reaped by human hands. We know and acknowledge that in everything we do, it must be through Him. He is the Source of our healing, our Refuge when the earth crumbles away, the One who is worthy of our praise.
Our prayer ministry meets regularly. For more information see our Prayer page HERE.

At Northend Church we try to make sure that everyone has a group that they can be a part of. Our seniors are no exception. We value our 65+ community and all the assets they bring to our larger church community. Our Seniors group is led by a group of faithful volunteers as well as our interim Pastor to Seniors, Terrie Sherbino.
Our seniors group enjoys getting together regularly for a time of getting to know each other, sharing, and other special programs. There are also occasional outings and other activities arranged.
Northend Healing Care Ministry:
Northend Church Healing Care Ministry provides opportunities for people to be positioned to receive healing in the presence of Jesus and experience wholeness in the process. This is provided through small groups, retreats, and individual conversations.
This Ministry is for people who long for a deeper walk with the Lord, more of the empowering life of the Spirit, more security in your identity in Christ, connection with others on the journey, healing from life experiences. For more information email firstname.lastname@example.org
Northend Church Singles Group:
Here at Northend we are fortunate enough to offer a community group for adults who are single and single-again. We hope that this group can be somewhere that adults can find new friendships as the group shares a desire to see how God made one a whole number.
Snack Program with Parnall School:
We are happy to be getting involved with our local community, acutally, they are down the street from us! We have partnered with Parnall Public School to help provide snacks to students who are in need. If you’re interested in supporting this initiative please contact the church. We can provide an approved snacks list or we can also take financial donations towards the project.
Baby & Me:
Baby & Me is a drop in program for parents and their little ones. No sign up required. Come and socialize with other neighbourhood families. Every Monday (excluding holidays) from 9:30-10:30 in the nursery at Northend. Contact the church with any questions.
Our Community Garden was a great success! We harvested tomatoes, beans, swiss chard, kale, lettuce, carrots, onions, various squashes, and a huge variety of fresh herbs. This food was used by our Foodbank.
We are always looking for volunteers to assist with expanding the garden, weeding, and in the spring we’ll need a planting crew.
